Travel Alert
Travel Alert is an iOS app that I developed for a client who traveled extensively. The app provides two main features - first, the user can see travel warnings and alerts issued by the US government. Second, users have fingertip access to emergency numbers and embassy/consulate numbers when traveling. In addition, a Ruby on Rails backend sends notifications to the user if new alerts or warnings are issued.
